Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with recruiting activities for manufacturing positions, including pre-screening candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, and coordinating pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug screening.

  • Participate in recruiting events, including organizing, preparing, and attending job fairs and campus recruiting events.

  • Support company training programs, including New Employee Orientation, Harassment Prevention, Ethics, Diversity Awareness, and other HR-related training.

  • Maintain confidential employee and applicant information utilizing Workday.

  • Organize and participate in various employee events, such as employee roundtables, new hire luncheons, retirement celebrations, and employee engagement activities.

  • Conduct research and provide assistance for various HR and Benefits-related projects.

  • Help create and implement company and HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

  • Provide support to employees by answering questions and addressing employee issues.

  • Support the delivery of employee training programs on HR topics.

  • Conduct exit interviews to understand employees' reasons for leaving and help optimize retention strategies.

  • Support the performance review process to ensure timely completion and partner with Supervisors.

  • Support the open enrollment process by conducting employee meetings and assisting with their benefit elections.

  • Filing as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

  • Ability to learn new programs quickly in a fast-paced, team environment. Workday experience helpful.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks.

  • Availability to work 15- 20 hours per week during the school year and 30-40 hours during the summer.

  • Proficiency in employee relations and understanding of organizational operations.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
