Summary:



Performs healthcare maintenance of building and grounds equipment, finishes, systems and structures through scheduled rounds and responding to work order and requests.



Responsibilities:



Maintains logs and computerized preventive and corrective maintenance repair files in order to comply with local, state and federal regulatory requirements.Reads and follows blueprints, schematic, charts, computerized maintenance work orders, schedules and written instructions.Performs general maintenance functions including but not limited to: carpentry, painting, interior finishes, millwork, doors and windows.Conducts routine to specialized preventive maintenance to specialized equipment safety checks.Repairs mechanical equipment and systems including but not limited to: motors, pumps, pneumatic tube, plumbing systems, sanitary systems, specialized water systems, medical gas outlets, plumbing fixtures, blowers, and fans.Is available to assist with emergencies such as the Hurricane Activation Plan, as assigned.
