Our client is a fast-growing, full-service provider of professional 3D marketing solutions for the tradeshow industry located in Bolingbrook. They are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to help manage their dynamic HR functions. Key Responsibilities:
Front Office: Greet visitors, manage phone communications, maintain reception and office areas, and coordinate mail services.
Payroll & Benefits: Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees, manage union deductions, assist with benefits administration, and reconcile payroll with benefits invoices.
Recruiting & Onboarding: Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and manage onboarding paperwork and orientation.
Compliance & Records: Maintain HR records (electronic/paper), ensure confidentiality, and conduct regular audits. Generate HR compliance reports.
HR Projects: Contribute to HR projects to improve processes, employee engagement, and HR reporting.
You:
1+ years of HR experience, specifically within payroll or recruiting
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
Experience with payroll software (Paylocity is a plus) and MS Office Suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
