The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the accounting department, overseeing daily financial operations, managing accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role requires advanced technical skills, strong analytical abilities, and an excellent understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts and bank statements.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
Prepare tax filings and support the year-end audit process.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, providing training and support as needed.
Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and assistance on projects.
Assist with the implementation of accounting software systems and process improvements.
