Martin Marietta is seeking an IS Infrastructure Intern. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about learning new skills and who possess a high drive to success and excellence. The team is open to a flexible work schedule to accommodate the right candidate's availability. This role is not remote and candidate will be expected to come into the office on their scheduled work days.



Responsibilities:



As an IS Infrastructure Intern at Martin Marietta, you'll contribute to the ongoing operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. Working alongside seasoned professionals, you'll gain practical experience in various aspects of infrastructure management.


To tailor your internship experience, we offer the opportunity to specialize in a specific area. Based on your interests, skills, and our current needs, you'll be assigned to one of the following focus areas:


  • Client Endpoint Services: Provide direct support to end-users and their devices, resolving their IT issues and requests.

  • Service Desk Operations: Manage incoming support calls and tickets, prioritizing and resolving issues efficiently.

  • Network Operations: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting our network infrastructure.

  • Server Administration: Contribute to the management and administration of our server environment.

  • Security Operations: Support our security initiatives, including threat detection, incident response, and compliance efforts.


Requirements



  • Currently pursing a bachelor's degree Computer Science, rising junior or senior.

  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

  • Ability to work in teams.
