Position Overview: This position plays a crucial role in the operational excellence strategy and is responsible for enterprise Business Technology (BT) ServiceNow services, capabilities and the overall administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. The incumbent leads enhancements to the Virtual Agent and Service Portal on the ServiceNow platform.
Essential Functions:
Administers and configures the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
Regularly monitors the performance and usage of the Virtual Agent and Employee Center Applications, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborates with leadership to develop strategies to improve user interactions with the virtual agent and Employee Center, ensuring a positive and intuitive experience.
Creates new catalog items and conversations, enhancing the capabilities and results of the virtual agent.
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow configurations.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Associate's degree in computer science, business administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) field.
Ability to achieve ServiceNow Administration certification within one year through provided training.
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, managing and configuring the ServiceNow platform.
Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI and chatbot technologies, applying new knowledge to improve existing systems.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Virtual Agent and Employee Center Applications.
Familiarity with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
An understanding of ServiceNow Flow Designer.
Working knowledge of configurations such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Access Controls, Notifications, Flow Designers and Workflows, Integration Hub as it relates to ServiceNow. Detailed understanding of, and experience with, ITIL processes.
Experience delivering measurable outcomes, performance consistency and reporting results to key process partners and stakeholders.
Effective organizational, time management and planning skills.
Ability to work with a wide variety of internal clients.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to translate technical information into non-technical terms.
