The Construction Funding Specialist Iis responsible for various functions performed during the construction of commercial, agricultural, single-family, multi-family, and other types of structures. These functions include but are not limited to draw request reviews and funding.
As a Construction Funding Specialist, you will:
Collect the necessary documentation from title companies, builders, lenders, and appraisers to ensure complete information and authorization for the draw has been obtained.
Analyze the draw request to monitor construction progress and mitigate risk for customer and bank.
Order progress inspections from appraisers as needed.
Provide your analysis and request approval from lenders where applicable.
Work with wire department or frontline to fund draw requests, or fund internal accounts directly.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year banking or post-closing experience required
1 year construction post-closing experience preferred.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
High degree of accuracy
