Skills and Competencies


  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to quickly adapt to using the required content management platform(s) a strong plus

  • Good analytical and research skills

  • Ability to analyze complex subject matter to identify and extract key and relevant information

  • Experience in data visualization using tools like Tableau or similar

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal, and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a changing environment, and prioritize tasks accordingly

Education

  • Students studying towards a Degree in English, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields
  • Graduation date of June 2026 - June 2027
  • Ability to work during program dates: June 2nd - August 8th 2025

Responsibilities

  • Research Analysis: Perform secondary research to gather, analyze, and present the required information and data, with focus on KYC/AML risk management in the banking and insurance sectors across the globe. This may include analyzing information to create content for newsletters, articles, presentations, research reports, thought leadership, and other ad-hoc deliverables.

  • Data Analysis: The intern may work analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This may involve creating clear, compelling visualizations that communicate the results of data analysis. This could involve using tools like Tableau or Microsoft Excel.

  • Collaboration and Communication: The intern will need to collaborate effectively with other members of the team, as well as stakeholders in other parts of the organization. This may involve presenting findings or explaining complex concepts in simple terms.

  • Documentation: The intern will need to document their findings and methodologies to ensure reproducibility and transparency. This also aids in knowledge transfer and continuity of work.

About the Program

Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June - August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35.
