The general job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities: Provides analytical support in any of the following disciplines: engineering, science, business, cost, or program management. Provides support to PM AAA Product Manager(s) and Engineering through Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Typical duties performed may include:

  • Analysis, design, development, testing, integration, logistics planning, and project/program management support.
  • Develops and/or reviews acquisition documentation, action tracking databases, and program reports.
  • Assists AAV/ACV PdM as the small business advocate; identifies opportunities for Science and Technology (S&T) integration efforts, and provides management of technology programs.
  • Establishes or sustains relationships with internal and external stakeholder representatives (i.e. Office of Naval Research, NSWC Carderock) to support technical project execution.
  • Evaluates and develops alternatives to address emerging requirements, fleet-identified issues, and safety concerns/issues.
  • Performs market research analysis, maintenance analysis, and develops informational briefs and meeting minutes.
  • Organizes and maintains official AAV/ACV Science &Technology files and provides input in updating the AAV/ACV portal to the portal design team.
  • Travel expected up to 25% of the time.

Experience:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant progressive professional work experience in program analytics or ten (10) years of professional experience, including six (6) years in a defense acquisitions program office or similar organization.
  • Experience in project/program level positions executing research, development, and innovation/technology integration is required. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Specific Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or on a team in a dynamic environment and with multiple-discipline projects.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access and TEAMS).
  • Experience with Amphibious Assault Vehicle, Amphibious Combat Vehicle, or heavy equipment projects a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is commonly required to speak, hear, walk, sit, stand and balance; regularly required to use hands and reach with arms. The employee may on occasion lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
