Location: Waltham, Massachusetts
Massachusetts General Hospital - Physical and Occupational Therapy Department is seeking Patient Service Coordinators to join the MGH - Outpatient Physical Therapy Team as a Patient Service Coordinator at the MGH Waltham location.
Are you the type of person who excels at thinking on your feet, using good judgment and driven to provide excellent customer service? Do you value developing relationships with patients? Do you enjoy managing several tasks at once and solving problems creatively? Do you feel pride in a job well done?
If so, this may be the position for you.
What: Patient Service Coordinator (PSC), a position responsible for greeting patients, processing co-pays and exceptional schedule management for a dynamic therapy practice. PSCs make future appointments for patients, ensuring that the physical and occupational therapists schedules are full. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with patients and being a part of a large team-oriented practice. Candidates should have the flexibility to deal with problems as they arise and to quickly create and adjust to new priorities as needed.
Why: Both patients and therapists sometimes run into scheduling problems and need someone to help move appointments to make the most efficient use of everyone's time. That's why candidates must be able to manage several tasks at once, use good judgment to solve problems creatively and recognize that they play a valuable role in positive patient and staff experiences.
When: We have a full-time opening for a qualified applicant, meaning only those individuals with a proven track record of exercising good judgment, managing several tasks at once, and handling constantly changing priorities in a positive, professional environment.
Where: Our hospital-based practice at the MGH Waltham location.
