Job Description: The Solar Project Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end engineering and technical support for C&I and community solar projects. This role involves detailed project planning, design, and execution to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed engineering plans and designs for solar projects in the C&I and community solar sectors.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after project implementation.
Utilize software tools for system design, performance analysis, and project management.
Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar engineering, with a focus on C&I and community solar projects.
Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).
Strong understanding of electrical systems, renewable energy technologies, and grid integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
