Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator in Birmingham, AL / Hybrid.
Role Description
Responsibilities:
• Learn scripts and perform "on the mic" as a host throughout the program.
• Serve as a dedicated tour guide throughout the program for a group of 48 guests per event.
• Answer all questions in a polite manner and address queries promptly.
• Identify new learning opportunities, drive program recommendations, and make suggestions to increase guest engagement.
• Provide superior customer service & onsite hospitality to attendees.
• Seek new ways to delight and surprise program participants.
• Document and share (photos, written quotes, etc.) attendee experiences.
• Ensure high-quality environments in all modules (check F&B, straighten and rearrange chairs, clean tables, set out pens and notebooks, etc.).
• Educate, engage, and develop relationships with attendees.
• Cross-train to fill in and support hotel-based guest services tasks.
• Clean, count & return safety assigned team safety glasses.
• Write amenity cards and prep gift bags.
• Prep & maintain assigned team gear/items (umbrellas, ponchos, gifts, hats, medicine, etc.).
• Cross-train to support pre-arrival and onsite registration communication.
Skills & Requirements
Requirements:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word, and Visio.
• 0-2 years of prior experience in project management.
• Articulate and able to perform demonstrations that engage and inspire.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong growth mindset.
• Provide "Best or Nothing" customer service and hospitality.
• Passion for people - great listening and conversational skills.
• Initiative to find new ways of delivering excellence.
• A commitment to "always being on stage" and maintaining consistent positivity, participant-facing enthusiasm throughout all program days and sessions.
• Experience in automotive sales or customer service (bonus points).
