The Media Specialist II is responsible for content ingesting and file distribution to internal and external clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Fulfill ingest and distribution requests from outside clients as assigned
Delegates work orders to level 1 Media Specialists as necessary
Facilitate requests from Competition and Research & Development departments
Maintain a working knowledge of current and legacy video formats
Evaluate work flow efficiency for ingest and delivery workflows; make recommendations for improvements when appropriate
Monitor live video streaming; troubleshoot or elevate issues as needed
Maintain the Production Network (SAN) by archiving material in a timely manner
Update Sharepoint as content is available for edit
Travel: < 5%
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four (4) year college or university and three (3) years' experience in Information Technology or similar computer support; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software. Experience with file management in Amazon Web Services, primarily S3 object storage. Proficient in non-linear editing programs, primarily Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects. Knowledge of core MacOS functionality required, including use of applications such as Finder, Automator, Terminal and TextEdit.
