Our client is seeking an experienced RNAC with a proven track-record of success to join and support our regional nursing team!
Responsible for 5 Locations 4 in DE and one in DC Smyrna, Wilmington, Millsboro, and Dover, and Washington DC
This position has a hybrid work schedule with 60% travel. (Reimbursement will be issued at the end of the month for travel expenses to the locations) Primarily will have 2 in home office days that they will rotate. All 5 locations need to be visited within a 2 week period out of the month.
Typical day to day may look like at home when not visiting facility... oversee programs and audits compliance/Guidelines participate in surveys and assessments of nursing needs Participate in meetings and calls within the company
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Will oversee 5 STAR and QRP Quality Measure outcomes for each center Ensure compliance is met with Prestige Processes and Guidelines
Ensure Monthly Billing is completed by Deadline
Have thorough understanding of CMI/ADD-ON programs in each state Conduct and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment (MDS) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines, including the implementation of RAP's and Triggers
Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies
Develop preliminary and comprehensive assessment of the nursing needs of each resident, utilizing the forms required
Ensure that the assessment team is aware of the importance of completeness and accuracy in their assessment function and ensure awareness of penalties
Qualifications & Requirements:
Licensed RN in the state of DE or District of Columbia - MAINLY LOOK FOR THOSE WHO HAVE DE RN LICENSE
RAC-CT certification preferred- NOT NEEDED BUT A PLUS 1.3-5 years RNAC experience in a long-term care setting, required- WILL CONSIDER SOMEONE WHO DOESNT HAVE CURRENT REGIONAL TITLE BUT WHO IS LOOKING TO GROW 2.Experience in management or a regional role.
PDPM and MDS experience required
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with computer literacy, required
Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations and state survey process, required
Ability to provide adequate training, oversight and correction action
