Job Description:
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Description: One of our largest client's based out of Fort Worth has an immediate need for a Sr. Systems Engineer with a focus on Windows and Ubuntu!
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days a week onsite
Contract: 6+ months
Experience
- 5-8 years of experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent experience in infrastructure engineering preferred

Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Standard 3 days on site, more as required
- Travel up to 25%
- Implement technical requirements and solutions
- Perform configuration and maintenance of applications and servers
- Maintain system documentation
- Support enterprise application performance management, monitoring, and logging solutions
- Troubleshoot and support systems and applications across on-premise and physical environments
Desired Skills
Mastery
- Windows Server 2019
- Powershell, BASH, or similar
- Server virtualization technologies (VMware ESX Server, Citrix XenApp Server, Microsoft Hyper-V)
- System monitoring tools (Dynatrace or others)
- SSL technologies (https, sftp, SSH, TLS, etc.)
Proficient
- Windows 10+ O/S
- Ubuntu 18+
- Storage technologies (SAN and NAS)
- TC/IP Networking
- Network technologies (firewall, routing, LAN, WAN, DNS)
- Application and Web servers
- PuTTY SSH and Telnet Client
