Site Project Controls Planner/Scheduler - Kingsport, TN

Experience performing Industrial Projects (Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Heavy Industrial)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Working knowledge of Primavera P6
Prepare accurate cost data to track against project budgets
Develop and update progress of projects
Develop and maintain project schedules, including resources
Assist with project reporting requirements

Summary:
The position performs Project Controls functions related to cost and schedules and assists in the preparation of Project Controls activities for a project.

Additional Functions

Analyzes complex data and then delivers clear, articulate, and concise messages in a compelling manner
Manages individual time by building due dates into assignments and then prioritizes work to accomplish more in less time
Continually seeks new functional knowledge and looks to build technical expertise
Excels in a team setting by clearly communicating project information and by listening effectively and inviting responses
Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience in various aspects of project controls, planning/scheduling, progress measurement, forecasting/ reporting.
Good interpersonal and collaborating skills.
Good organization and prioritization skills to execute work accurately and largely self-directed, handle multiple priorities, and analyze reports and trend activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Firm knowledge of construction/maintenance projects in an Industrial setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients
Ability to multi-task working within a team structure and independently.
Manages individual time and deliverables.


Education and Experience:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are required.
Four-year relevant bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to 6 years.

Requirements:

Arrive at work on time, as scheduled, consistently, reliably, & complete each shift
Follow all safety rules and standards for the company and for the site
Understand and follow Instructions from the direct supervisor
