Job Description:

OBJECTIVE
PCLI’s HIT department supports computers and a computer network spanning multiple states from our corporate office. The best candidate will assist in the smooth operation of PCLI’s computer network in support of the various departments of PCLI.

Healthcare IT Director

STATUS

Full-time (40 hours per week)

SCHEDULE

Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Schedule may vary - We provide support and maintenance on systems that requires work outside of scheduled office hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating systems


• Ability to learn independently from manuals and/or experimentation


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Excellent organizational skills


• Pleasant, cooperative, caring attitude


• The ability to work with a team to set and achieve common goals

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS-
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the responsibilities. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
  
  
  • High School Diploma or GED
  
  
  • Two years of previous computer support experience
  
  
  • Computer certification examples: A+, Network +, MCP
  
  
  • MCSA Certification preferred
  
  
  • Associate’s degree in computer science or computer related field preferred
