Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Architecture Senior Analyst to support our EA team in aligning architecture development, architecture governance, technical debt remediation, and IT asset rationalization towards simplification. The ideal candidate will participate in evaluation of existing IT systems, development of strategic roadmaps, and insights for informed technology decision-making. This role involves independently maintaining detailed documentation, collaborating with business stakeholders and the architecture community. Additionally, the senior analyst will provide program management support in  architecture governance, assess technical risks and debt, and participate in IT asset rationalization and simplification to optimize our technology portfolio and reduce complexity.   

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in realization of the architecture governance framework, by managing operations of architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies. 

  • Analyze and evaluate existing IT systems and technology landscape to identify areas for simplification, removing redundancy, mitigating risk and improving cost efficiency. 

  • Contribute to the creation of target state reference architecture artifacts, enterprise architecture operating model design, and development of the technology roadmap. 

  • Support decision-making and participate in developing recommendations to support strategic IT decisions. 

  • Maintain detailed documentation of architecture patterns, models, decision frameworks, and standards. 

  • Drive EA stakeholder engagement and collaboration, working closely with business, IT stakeholders, community of architects to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals. 

  • Conduct assessments of technical risks and technical debt, providing recommendations for mitigation and management. 

  • Contribute to the rationalization and simplification of IT assets to optimize the technology portfolio and reduce complexity. 

  • Provide program management guidance and support to the Architecture Review Board and AAC, leading communications, drafting meeting agendas, etc.  

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 5+ years of total relevant work experience 

  • Experience working within the financial services industry, ideally in an EA Organization

 

Technical Skills

  • Financial services experience; previous asset management experience is a plus 

  • Knowledge of technology and operations 

  • Exceptional written communication skills including preparing presentations

  • Ability to develop relationships with the team and cross-functionally with key stakeholders 

  • Drives shared results through decisions, performance accountability, and execution focus 

  • Advocates for change through communication, motivation, and focused planning

  • Hands on and detail oriented “doer”; rolls-up his/ her sleeves and does real work 

  • Proactive approach to setting priorities and executing 

  • Proven ability to handle multiple and competing priorities  

Preferred Qualifications

  • TOGAF, ITIL, or similar certifications.

  • Consulting, financial planning and analysis, or strategy experience

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.

Base salary ranges:

$114,500.00 - $195,000.00 for the location of: California, New York
$100,500.00 - $171,500.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C
$91,500.00 - $156,500.00 for the location of: Colorado, Maryland, Washington and all other US locations

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
