Job Description:

Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to join our talented management team!


This position will report to the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and Director of Outlets and will oversee the Pendulum 401 Restaurant and Pratt & Perk Cafe & Market. This role will oversee aprox. 10-15 front of the house team members per shift.


The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years food and beverage leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for all things food and beverage and customer service related. Prior hotel leadership experience is strongly preferred. Previous union knowledge/experience is required.


Shift Pattern: Full availability is needed for this position. 


Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 / annually

What will I be doing?


As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for directing and organizing the activities and services of all hotel food and beverage outlets (restaurants, lounges, room service, coffee shop, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.


Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:



  •        Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

  •        Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs.

  •        Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.

  •        Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.

  •        Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules, and evaluates staff.
