PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES




Talent Acquisition



  • Coordinates and schedules interviews between candidates and managers.


  • Manages interview calendars, sending timely reminders and confirmations to both candidates and interviewers.


  • Arranges logistics for interviews, whether they are in-person, over the phone, or via video conferencing platforms.


  • Communicates with candidates, providing detailed information about the interview process, company culture, and ensures a top candidate experience.


  • Initiates reference and background checks after employment offer.





Onboarding



  • Develops and manages onboarding programs that facilitate a smooth transition and positive experience for new associates.


  • Assist with onboarding material preparation.


  • Conducts orientation sessions to introduce new associates to company culture, values, and expectations, making their first days informative and engaging.


  • Works with new hire manager and coordinates with various departments to ensure that new hires feel welcome and have necessary tools, access, and resources.


  • Schedules Predictive Index overview session with new hire and their manager.


  • Collects and processes all required new hire documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.





Benefits, Leave and Wellbeing



  • Works with HR Business Partners to administer leave of absences including FMLA, short and long-term disability.


  • Works with Compensation and Benefits Manager to schedule and coordinate corporate wellbeing programming.


  • Develops content for monthly Benefit Newsletter.





Associate Engagement



  • Serves as the HR liaison for bilingual associates: Provide support and resources to bilingual associates, ensuring effective communication and understanding of company policies and benefits.


  • Updates the HR intranet site by adding appropriate forms and documents, publishing communications, promoting awareness, and keeping the site current.


  • Assists with field craft engagement by assisting with and supporting field craft events.


  • Tracks and publishes associate milestones and announcements for purposes of recognition and celebration.





Compliance



  • Processes E-Verify information for new associates within three business days of completion of I-9 form. Assists sub-contractors with E-Verify process as needed.


  • Maintains I-9 files and adheres to guidelines in compliance with IRS rules by recording and filing new hire I-9 forms, maintaining files for terminated associates, reverifying I-9 documents as necessary and archiving I-9s.


  • Creates and manages associate files, ensuring accuracy, organization and appropriate filing.


  • Orders and distributes required labor law posters: Ensures all required labor law posters are up-to-date and properly displayed in the workplace.





MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements before going into job)


  • Bachelor's degree in field related to Human Resources and/or equivalent experience.


  • Works productively and efficiently, balanced with a high-level of quality.


  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail.


  • Bilingual in Spanish and English: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages, providing support to a diverse workforce.


  • Proficiency with technology: Strong ability to use and adapt to various HR technologies, software, and databases.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented approach





WORKING CONDITIONS
