The Special Events Intern must be mission focused, seeking a degree or a recent graduate of a healthcare or a business-related field with an emphasis on hospitality or special events management. Institutional Advancement department interns are involved in projects that are critical to the day-to-day work of our non-profit organization, gaining knowledge in several different areas of the department and organization.
The internship is designed to expose students to the philanthropic and non-profit sectors and will help develop and strengthen the professional skills required to work in these fields. Assignments will vary but will include a well-rounded experience working with our events and corporate alliance teams.
Candidates should have a good attitude, communicate effectively and efficiently, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment, and maintain professional work habits.
