Identify new business opportunities and represent the company in key industry forums. Develop and showcase the company's unique value proposition to key decision-makers. Share market insights with internal stakeholders to inform product development, marketing, and business development efforts - all in service of creating a person-focused health care experience.

What You Bring to Cambia:



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.


  • Minimum 12 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related industry, with a focus on business development, sales, or account management.


  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing strategic relationships with large national accounts.





Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience working with large national accounts, including consulting houses and brokerage firms.


  • Knowledge of the healthcare and insurance industries, including trends, regulations, and market developments.


  • Certification in a relevant field, such as healthcare management or business development.


  • Experience with RFP/RFI processes and proposal development.


  • Familiarity with ASO solutions and the commercial market excellence space.


  • Current insurance license.


  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing strategic relationships with large national accounts.


  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Communication: Being clear and concise, listening carefully, and avoiding assumptions


  • Build Trust: Ability to maintain confidential information, build trust through active listening and ability to read others and own self during a variety of settings.





What You Will Do at Cambia:

  • Develops and executes a business development strategy to drive revenue growth with large national accounts, focusing on consulting houses and brokerage firms in partnership with Regence's Sales and Market Leadership.


  • Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with key decision-makers at national consulting and brokerage firms to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.


  • Represents Regence in key Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Consortium Health Plan forums, ensuring that our value proposition and differentiators are well-represented and understood by national partners.


  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet the needs of national accounts, and shares market intelligence with product development, marketing, and business development teams.


  • Conducts market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the national account market, and develops targeted sales strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.


  • Partners with the Commercial Market Excellence and Product teams to drive enhancements to Regence's ASO solutions suite, ensuring that our products meet the evolving needs of national accounts.


  • Develops and manages budgets, reports, and performance metrics to measure the success of national partnerships and identify areas for improvement.


  • Stays up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to maintain Regence's competitive edge, and identifies and pursues new business opportunities with national consulting and brokerage firms.

The expected hiring range for a National Consultant Partnership Director is $145,400 - $196,700 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. This role has a robust incentive plan based on individual and organizational goal achievement.The current full salary range for this role is $136,000 - $223,000.
