I'm currently recruiting for an Accounts Relievable Specialist in Raleigh.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's receivables, ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance team in achieving department objectives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and account reconciliations
Manage collections activities and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounts receivable tasks in SAP, including generating reports
Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records
Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries
Work closely with the finance and sales departments to streamline invoicing and collection procedures
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Ability to use PC applications including advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, functions, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting), and Word, and Email
Experience with enterprise resource planning software like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and Oracle JD Edwards is highly preferred.
