Role: Slalom Flex (Project Based) - Content Manager



Location: Denver Metro Area

What You'll Do



  • Lead content coordination and management efforts for municipal website redesign and implementation of a new CMS

  • Support content audit across current municipal website and external department websites

  • Work with the departments to understand content goals and prioritization

  • Support development of content strategy that outlines the approach for prioritizing, consolidating, integrating or retiring content over time

  • Support creation of content guidelines for future content creation on the new website

  • Create, review and edit content, according to content guidelines

  • Support the rollout and enforcement of hybrid website governance model and ensure compliance with content guidelines


What You'll Bring



  • 5+ years content strategy/management experience

  • 5+ years consulting experience

  • CMS implementation experience

  • Ability to interact with senior level stakeholders

  • Ability to work effectively, build relationships and create buy-in across all levels of an organization

  • Provide content management best practices

  • Experience partnering with UX Designer(s) to define the content strategy and inform the necessary page templates and design components

  • Experience partnering with Change Manager to create and enforce website governance model, content prioritization and guidelines, and training materials

  • Experience with content optimization (SEO) and analytics

  • Ability to take ideas from inception all the way through to detailed content/design specifications, ready for engineering implementation

  • A strong self-starter with ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $75 to $95/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
