Reports To: Associate Dean- Trades and Engineering Technologies



FLSA Status: Non-Exempt



Amount of Travel Required: Minimal



Salary Grade: PT D




Location: Green Bay



Hours: Approximately 3-10 hours per week between the hours of Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-3pm, and Saturday 8am-1pm. Scheduled to be determined at the time of hire based upon availability and needs. Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours as necessary.



Minimum Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour




POSITION SUMMARY


Responsible for assisting the full time and adjunct faculty in the Tech Hall and Mech Hall by answering questions from students, signing off on student labs, and administering exams. These Alumni Tech Hall Aides will leverage their academic backgrounds having graduated from the Electrical Engineering Technology program, the Electro-Mechanical Technology program or the Automation Engineering program. Unlike the adjuncts who support the Tech Hall, these Alumni Tech Hall Aides will not be required to have five or more years of work experience. These Alumni Tech Hall Aides will also be paid by the hour and will not be responsible to grading/owning for any of the video sections Tech Hall classes.

  • Coach students on course material in conjunction with the faculty lead.

  • Sign off on lab activities and administer exams.

  • Support independent lab work in the Tech and Mech Hall.

Education: Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Biomedical Electronics, or Automation Technology

Experience: Recent graduate of the programs above.
