Location: San Francisco (Downtown in zip code 94111)



Job Type: Contract through 12/20 Full 40 hours a week (Looking to start someone ASAP)


**Could extend for the right candidate**



Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8am-4:30pm



Salary: $20-$25 per hour depending on prior experience




About the Role:




Our client is looking for an organized and proactive Office Expereince Assistant to help keep our office space running smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring our workspace is well-stocked, clean, and organized, providing a welcoming and productive environment for our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, responsive, and able to handle a mix of regular responsibilities and project-based tasks.




Day-to-Day Responsibilities:



  • Office Upkeep:

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of office areas, including wiping down desks and conference room tables.

    • Ensure conference rooms are fully stocked with erasers, markers, notebooks, pens, tissues, and that chairs are appropriately arranged.

    • Ensure all workspaces and MDP offices are stocked consistently with essentials like keyboards, pens, etc.




  • Stocking and Supplies:

    • Regularly stock fridges and snacks for employee access.

    • Distribute office supplies across all three floors as needed.

    • Ensure bathrooms are stocked with amenities and refreshed throughout the day.




  • Concierge Coverage:

    • Provide brief coverage for the concierge desk during 15-minute breaks and lunch breaks.




  • Event Support:

    • Set up Foodee orders on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

    • Prepare the drink cart for meetings, ensuring beverages are available as needed.

    • Assist with catering clean-up after events and meetings.




  • Office Space Maintenance:

    • Keep desk numbering and organization up-to-date.





Project-Based Responsibilities:



  • Office Paneling and Organizing Projects:

    • Conduct an end-of-year locker sweep across all three floors, discarding unclaimed items and organizing remaining items.

    • Coordinate a year-end junk purge, gathering unneeded items for disposal or recycling.

    • Organize the storage cage, take inventory, label containers, and discard unnecessary items.




  • Chair and Library Organization:

    • Label chairs on floors 23 and 25 for easy identification.

    • Organize and catalog the library collection, ship or donate excess books as needed.




  • Package Management:

    • Regularly clear the package rack on floor 25, coordinating with recipients to arrange pick-up or shipping for items left on the rack.





Qualifications:


  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively address office needs.

  • Physical capability to perform duties such as stocking, cleaning, and organizing.

  • Previous experience in office management or facilities roles is a plus but not required.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and manage supplies across multiple floors.
