Overview:

ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Construction Coordinator position will support the development of reporting tools to track progress and ensure timely completion of projects. Responsibilities include coordinating process improvements, drafting and recommending work processes, and facilitating compliance and audit requirements. The role will also assist with document management, access control, procurement, and inventory tracking. Additionally, the position supports performance planning, organizational data reporting, and assists with budget reporting for management review. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to manage cross-functional processes effectively. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA.

Pay Rate: $28.94 - $ 41.35

Responsibilities:

  • Assist management in developing reporting tools that document and communicate the progress of standards-related activities to verify timely completion; coordinate priorities and draft documentation on assigned related process for management approval.

  • Draft and recommend work processes to improve reliability and efficiency of control center functions at the company. Final processes will be reviewed and approved by appropriate federal personnel.

  • Collect and draft all necessary audit artifacts required during audits and for compliance certification as requested by management.

  • Coordinate compliance processes to verify that timeline execution will meet defined due dates. Escalate any concerns to PM, manager, etc.

  • Coordinate implementation of North America Reliability Cooperation (NERC) reliability standards within regulatory deadlines with oversight from the manager or delegated staff.

  • Facilitate fact-finding for periodic audits of processes in accordance with defined policy.

  • Draft, document, and recommend Operational Services' process infrastructure.

  • Facilitate, recommend changes as needed, and formalize Operational Services' cross training process.

  • Maintain TTO's library publishing process/ Document Management process to verify documentation is published in a timely manner, version controlled, and appropriately approved. Verify that appropriate Information Protection rules are adhered to and required document reviews are scheduled and recorded. Alert management of any deviations.

  • Support staff in development and performance of processes for compliance tasks, such as physical and cyber access granting and revoking, the organization's (TT's) library management, procurement processing, and equipment management.

  • Assist with drafting, performing, and maintaining the Control Center procurement process documents for infrastructure, Operational Technology equipment, software, and maintenance or services contracts. Appropriate federal personnel will approve all draft documents or recommend changes.

  • Assist with annual review of users with authorized cyber access to all cyber assets or Access Control Monitoring (ACM) cyber assets, as well as authorized physical access to Critical Cyber assets or ACM Cyber Assets.

  • Assist in tracking access (physical and cyber) privileges granted for the Control Centers, maintaining current system privilege and resource manager information and staying within NERC guidelines and time constraints. Verify asset management policies and procedures follow the company and Organizational Property Management Officer (OPMO) guidelines. Assist with artifact and evidence gathering for Data Calls/Requests.

  • Verify Control Center equipment is properly tagged as delineated in Asset Management Instructions and tracked in both the CoC Management System and the Sunflower system.

  • Assist with inventory of all the org's Administrative Data Processor (ADP) equipment on an annual basis, when notified by the OPMO, or continuously throughout the year.

  • Assist manager in verifying Performance Plan benchmarks by running organizational team data reports such as project status excel reports, dashboards, and team metrics.

  • Assist manager with re-org packets by verifying information with Human Resources (HR) and SLMO; create/modify Visio documents for the org chart as needed.

  • At the managers request, use Report Server to pull budget reports (e.g., spend rates, forecasts, actuals) for manager review.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in business administration, management, accounting, computer science, or a closely-related field is preferred.

  • 2 years directly related experience is required with a bachelor's degree in applicable fields.

  • 4 years directly related experience is required with an associate's degree in applicable fields.

  • 6 years of directly related experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.

  • Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of business/operations analysis and program/project coordination/control and progressively more technical in nature.

  • Expert proficiency in automated data systems to include SharePoint and Visio and a high degree of efficiency in technical dynamics of software output (e.g. use of advanced printing such as to plotters, capabilities of cross-software embedding for purposes of presentations, technical webinars, etc.) is required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Experience in a power utility Control Center environment.

  • Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
