What we need:
The Finance Analyst is a key performer responsible for supporting financial analysis objectives through the administration of robust financial procedures and processes. This position involves assisting in preparing both external and internal reports, performing quality checks on documents, and requesting or verifying source data and backup documentation for various SEC filings and management reports.
What you'll do:
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual external reports, including 10K, 10Q, 8K, 11K and other SEC filings.
Coordinate with field and corporate teams to obtain backup documentation and verify data for internal and external reports.
Liaise with various analysts to gather the latest financial models, facilitating the preparation and consolidation of analyst consensus reports for senior management.
Compile various monthly management reports, including the CEO/CFO book, preliminary monthly results, and other ad hoc analyses.
Review internal and external reports for quality assurance, including footnote and table tie-outs, formatting, and table footings.
Set up external reporting filing projects in Workiva for both test and live filing.
Assist in reviewing the Board Book, CEO and CFO scripts, and management operational overview reports.
Prepare draft accounting disclosure checklists.
Compile quarterly and annual external report binders.
Assist in compiling the quarterly investor deck.
Contribute to monthly non-GAAP and restructuring reports.
Assist in quarterly stock compensation expense analysis as well as share count reconciliations.
Document processes and streamline both external and internal reports.
Perform other duties as required.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
2-4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
CPA certification preferred.
What you're good at:
Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices.
Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products as well as in data base software (ex. HFM).
Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
