Job Objective: Briefly describe the main purpose of this position.

The SAP EWM Manager is a leading performer that manages end-to-end SAP EWM projects, ensuring successful implementations and optimizations. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing SAP projects within scope, schedule, and budget.


Duties and Responsibilities of the Position: Using brief, bulleted, narrative statements, describe the main tasks and responsibilities that an employee in this position would be expected to manage.

  • Lead the execution of SAP EWM projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand SAP EWM project requirements and expectations.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Manage the allocation of resources for SAP projects, ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Collaborate with resource managers to address any resource constraints.
  • Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
  • Proactively manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure the quality of SAP project deliverables, conducting reviews and validations.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to meet project objectives.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education: Describe the education, years of experience, and any certifications necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities of this position.
  • At least 10 years of SAP Logistics execution hands-on experience in SAP projects implementation
  • At least 6 years of SAP Extended warehouse Management (EWM) projects implementation
  • Knowledge of SD and MM modules in SAP ECC, and integration of those modules with SAP EWM
  • Core EWM experience - Receiving, shipping, warehouse operations, Handheld devices.
  • Good experience on CIF, DRF, QRFC, PPF, EWM RF Framework
  • Hands on experience in the following integration areas are needed.
    • ECC to EWM interfaces
    • SAP ME to EWM interfaces
    • S/4 Hana EWM Decentralized
    • S/4 TMS to S/4 EWM
  • Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing, and implementing the automated solution.
  • Hands on experienced in designing customized transactions, programs and delivering solutions in SAP EWM
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal & client management skill
  • Very Good understanding of interfaces set up with multiple systems.
  • Ability to run blueprinting workshops independently.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work in advanced excel based data analysis.
  • Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • The location for this position is Calhoun/Kennesaw, Georgia. Candidates will be expected to work regularly from this location.
