Dal-Tile is seeking a candidate to join our team as an SR. Credit Coordinator. The SR. Credit Coordinator works with the Regional Credit Manager as a team, in supporting both internal and external customer relationships. Follows credit and collections policies, procedures, and practices. Provides good customer service to both internal and external customers. Working in this position, the ideal candidate can experience upward mobility through gaining understanding of our corporate financial systems and general accounting processes. This position provides a candidate with opportunity to work cross-departmentally within the organization gaining an understanding into how corporate teams work together to achieve success. The position will provide a candidate an inside look and understanding at how the various business functions successfully come together in a large manufacturing and distribution company.
Primary Objective
Assists the Regional Credit Manager, in supporting both internal and external customer relationships. Follows credit and collections policies, procedures and practices as outlined. This position contacts customer external customers to review overdue accounts.
Major Function and Scope
Completes high volume incoming credit and collection calls on overdue accounts.
Researches and resolves customer charge backs.
Reconciles customer accounts and cash applications.
Provides administrative support for assigned area including, but not limited to -- aging reports, filing, correspondence, lien wavers, write offs, account reconciliation, refunds, NSF checks, communication within and outside of department, etc.
Maintains all assigned accounts within established performance standards; actively participates and contributes to group quality improvement processes.
Timely completion of lien and bond waivers and releases.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience and Knowledge Required
High School Degree or GED
Familiarity with lien and bond waivers and releases a must
Knowledge of lien laws a plus.
Moderate to advanced skills in MSWord and MSExcel.
1 or more years hands on analysis and collections experience.
Cash Handling experience preferred.
Proven ability to work as a member of a team.

Ability to work independently, seek solutions and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong ability to interface with all company departments as necessary
