RESPONSIBILITIES:

A client with Kforce is seeking a Product Support Specialist to join their team remotely - most of the team is CT and ET. This is a full time role, M-F, with some possible Saturdays as needed. In this role, the Product Support Specialist administers the necessary product requirements to maintain consistent account control of clients that use company software products and ensures that the quality and utilization of client software products satisfies client needs. This is not an accounting position, but more of an operations-type role.

Responsibilities:

• Provides in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries


• Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions


• Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters


• Troubleshoots problems with malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment or software applications and recommends corrective action


• Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development


• Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes


• Resolves Client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters


• Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities


• Larger work load during time period for IRS deadlines with clients

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience


• CPA is a plus, not required


• 0-1 years of experience


• Experience working in tax operations


• Operational group experience


• Mutual funds, dividends experience, if no tax operations experience


• Retirements operations experience is also a plus


• Prior banking or finance related experiences a plus; Personal banking experience preferred


• Knowledge of client products and Services


• Strong analytical skills


• Knowledge of programming, business analysis or implementation of software products


• Organizational and time management skills required


• Self-starter with proven ability to work independently


• Extremely comfortable working with computers and a variety of applications


• Excellent oral and written communications skills


• Strong problem solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
