Wage: $16.277 Hours: M-F 8-5 Dress Attire: Business Casual
The Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care is looking for an Office Specialist with the Provider Relations team. This position is responsible for managing the enrollment, renewal, and revalidation processes for Medicaid providers. This position ensures timely and accurate data collection for various reports and facilitates the distribution of these reports to relevant teams.
Job Duties:
This positions assists with enrollment, renewal, and revalidation of Medicaid providers.
Ensure compliance with Medicaid policies and procedures throughout the enrollment process.
Collect, compile, and analyze data for weekly and monthly reports as requested by various teams.
Ensure timely distribution of reports to relevant stakeholders to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
Work closely with other team members to streamline enrollment processes and share best practices.
Communicate effectively with providers and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve issues related to enrollment.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency.OR Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Medicaid enrollment processes and healthcare regulations, prior experience in administrative support roles, basic skills in Microsoft Office, and previous experience in a customer service role.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Solid understanding of program-administrative work, relevant information sources, and record-keeping principles, preferably using Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to formulate and recommend alternative courses of action, communicate effectively via various mediums, summarize technical data into reports, and understand and apply instructions and policies.
Capacity to retrieve information quickly and accurately from different computer mainframes.
Willingness to work consistently Monday to Friday, 8-5, with regular and predictable attendance, and respond to callers' inquiries in a professional manner.
