Job Title: Contingency Operations Program Support

Department: Operations – Services

Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager

Location: Washington D.C.

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: Temporary Full-time, 40-hours/week

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exempt

Clearance: TS/SCI


Position Summary

The Contingency Operations Program Support position will deliver operational and transitional support to a government client, assisting the Transition Team in advancing the program's mission. This role is vital to RavenTek's success on the contract and reflects its commitment to supporting the government customer.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an accurate roster of personnel assigned to the continuity emergency response team, ensuring up-to-date team records.
  • Collaborate with Continuity Program Officers and team members to provide necessary training or administrative support, facilitating smooth team operations.
  • Identify and report any gaps in the continuity team makeup, making recommendations for improvement to the Contingency Operations Division leadership.
  • Design, develop, and maintain continuity operations briefings and deliver them effectively to senior government officials.
  • Assist with other emergency management responsibilities as directed by Contingency Operations Division staff.
  • Provide on-site tours and familiarization sessions for team members and others as needed, offering insights into area operations and facilities.
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Submit Status Reports to the RavenTek Program Manager by the deadline provided.
  • Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Critical Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing personnel rosters and records.
  • Proficient in creating and delivering professional presentations and briefings.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to senior officials.
  • Ability to perform independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • A minimum of one year of experience within federal emergency management or continuity support.
  • Background in emergency management, continuity operations, or similar experience is highly preferred.

  • N/A

Special Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Minimum Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Work Environment

Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.


Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
