Job Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator is the primary interface for all onboarding, offboarding and a variety of other human resources related responsibilities. This is a modified full time position at 30 hours per week on-site in our HQ office. Onboarding
Completes a variety of actions in Paycor to efficiently onboard new employees
Complete New Hire Orientations and process all new hire paperwork.
Responsible for the New Hire Drug Testing Program and background investigations
I-9 and E-verify Administration
Prepare company badges for new hires
Prepares apparel order, mails apparel to new hire upon receipt
Offboarding
Schedules exit interviews with exiting employees
Notifies appropriate departments of all exiting employees
Perform other out-processing duties for terminations including system updates
Records
Serve as custodian for all electronic and hard copy employee records.
Perform data entry of all employee information into HRIS (Deltek Costpoint) and Paycor ensuring data integrity through consistent monitoring, testing and auditing.
File all records accordingly.
Respond to employment verification, unemployment, background inquiries.
Design, develop and run custom query reports using Costpoint.
Other
Performs a variety of administrative tasks such as copying, filing, faxing, minutes, preparing presentations, monthly reports etc.
Coordinate cross-functional information between different departments.
Serve as a back-up for all members of the Human Resources Department.
Other duties as assigned include special projects such as monthly employee recognition and year end awards/events.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program, with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
Strong administrative skills, attention to detail and well organized.
Excellent verbal, written, and interactive communication skills.
Self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to document and maintain accurate records.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to reprioritize and adjust to the needs of the business.
Proficiency in MS Office Products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook
