Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate interested in gaining experience with international business, global trade and export control to join our 2025-2026 Global Export Control Program starting in May or June 2025. This internship will be full-time for the first 3 months (June/May - August) with the ideal candidate continuing part-time for an additional 9 months (September-May).

In this internship role, you will be involved with ensuring compliance with global export regulations, including international trade laws and export restrictions. You will learn about classifying products for export, support risk assessments, and have exposure in the process of ensuring adherence to Schneider Electric Export Control Program. Throughout the internship you will get exposed to all many of our global business functions. Our interns are empowered to learn, innovate, and grow within the organization.

You will be a part of a community of interns which is led by a hub leader, who will also enhance your collaboration between all the internship hubs and the other departments of the organization. For your day-to- day responsibilities. You will be given the opportunity to work on various projects with different scopes and lengths (short-medium-long term) to help broaden your exposure and network.

Projects that your internship may include, but are not limited to:

o Global Trade and Export Control laws and sanctions.

o Participate on international regulation change projects.

o Risk assessments and audits.

o Research and assist in trade compliance projects.

o Exposure to export classifications.

o Data and data analysis.

o Change and communications planning

o Content & assets development (SharePoint site, webpages, videos, trainings)

o Pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree in Business, Project Management, or related field graduating May 2026

o Have had experience supporting and participating in group/team projects

o Ability to digest information and visually represent

o Ability to multi-task / pivot
