This position performs work in loading and timely delivery of small field equipment, i.e. tools and equipment, blow out preventors, power swivels and tubular goods. Incumbent also performs general maintenance and appearance of the assigned vehicle and may need to operate forklift as necessary.
This position has a dotted line reporting line to: Dispatcher.
Responsibilities:
Performs loading and delivering equipment to various locations, including delivery and return of trailer and skid mounted blow out preventers, power swivel units, tubular goods and fishing and rental tools.
Delivers tools to vendors for repairs and picks up repaired tools.
Delivers fuel to units in the field as required.
Performs inspection on assigned vehicle and trailers needed to deliver equipment safely on public roadways, ensuring all trailers meet DOT specifications.
Completes DOT log books and post-trip and pre-trip inspection sheets daily before leaving the yard or location.
Completes equipment return sheet when assigned to return equipment to a location/yard, obtaining "sign-off" by the dispatcher verifying the receipt of the returned equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have experience with a manual or pneumatic winch with at least a 6 ton capacity.
Must be forklift certified.
Must comply with all DOT rules and regulations.
A Class A CDL license is not required but preferred.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred.
