Position Type: Contract (4 months) Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Role Overview: We are seeking a candidate to fill a backfill position and add two new roles within our Financial Controls team. While a CPA is preferred, it is not required.
Responsibilities:
Consult with business lines and enterprise functions on financial reporting, IT governance, and control matters.
Identify compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area.
Provide oversight for testing and monitoring of moderate to complex control areas.
Communicate and consult regularly with stakeholders across the enterprise.
Implement, operate, and report on elements of the company's policy, governance, and oversight framework.
Support the implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting, or Business and Technology Audit, or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Excellent research skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analysis of third-party financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
Identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential risks in financial profiles.
Clearly communicate findings to third-party relationship teams.
