Description: Position Title : Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical
Summary: Responsible for independently maintaining, repairing, and modifying the plant's computer-controlled systems and electrical equipment. Involved in design, installation, and repair of all PLC and electrically driven machinery. Reports to the Engineering Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and guidance to maintenance team members.
Ensures adherence to organizational policies and applicable laws.
Oversees hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the Electrical or Mechanical Team in daily operations.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install low and medium voltage electrical systems.
Create parts lists and determine conduit runs and wiring.
Maintain documentation for equipment, control, and building power systems.
Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers and related components.
Reload or reboot PLC programs to restore faulted equipment.
Assist with system startups and operational checkouts.
Diagnose electrical/electronic systems and prescribe corrective actions.
Write procedures, work instructions, and work orders.
Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4-year electrical engineering degree from an ABET accredited university.
Previous leadership experience.
Background in PLC, VFD, and Servo Motor Control Systems.
Bilingual skills preferred.
Proficiency in multiple computer applications, including ADP, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge:
Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
Understanding of plant electrical systems, including DC and AC voltage.
Experience with plant floor automation, office Ethernet, control net, fiber optic networks, and network wiring.
Licenses/Certifications: To be reviewed with hiring manager.

Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
