ECS is seeking a qualified Business Analyst (Int) to support transformative science and technology solutions for the Department of Energy.
We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide courteous and accurate technical information and support in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. This position performs activities associated with implementation, integration, and support of technical systems in mission-critical response operations environment.
Performing business analysis functions to include gathering technical information from stakeholders across multiple government agencies and highlighting key facts and data elements.
Provide meeting support as required.
Reports to technical lead for tasks and/or projects.
Defines the problem and develops system requirements and specifications for technical and non-technical tasks.
Prepares required documentation including program-level and user-level documentation in support of all program documentation.
General consultant support to include project management tasks, meeting facilitation, and ad hoc duties as needed.

Identifying and addressing client needs:
Building solid relationships with clients.
Communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner.
Delivering clear requests for information.
Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.

Proactively seek and provide guidance, clarification and, feedback to less experienced staff.

Content management for program, office, and divisional websites.
Communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including presenting to senior executives, developing lasting relationships, delivering clear requests for information, and communicating.
General consultant support to include project management tasks, meeting facilitation, and ad hoc duties as needed.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in information technology or business-related AND two years of related work experience.
OR
Associate's Degree in information technology or business-related AND four years of related work experience.
OR
Six years of related work experience.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or DOE Q clearance throughout the life of the contract.
Must be a US Citizen per contract.
Must currently live in Pittsburgh, PA or willing to relocate.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5 to 9 years demonstrated performance in related information technology dealing with complex networks, planning, system design, implementation, and recovery or in a related area such as software development and integration efforts.
3 years experience with SharePoint (2013, 2019, SPO).
Demonstrate applied knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management concepts and technical/non-technical requirements gathering.
Capture important information while engaging with stakeholders and create documentation based on this information.
Analyze large amounts of data and come up with conclusions based on this data to include charts and graphs.
Experience with Cloud environments.
Clear written and oral communications.
Understanding of Microsoft server and desktop environments.
Desired Skills:
Active Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance with the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract.
Two or more years experience supporting US Government customers.
Project Management Professional certification.
Experience supporting complex government and programs of a research and development nature.
Cloud certifications.
