Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • Develop verification and test plans tied to product requirements, risks, and theory of operations


  • Construct and troubleshoot new lasers, test systems and instrumentation


  • Develop software testing methodologies, including supporting software.


  • Implement workflows to specify, design, implement, qualify, and release new product software and new test packages.


  • Design and built emulators and test scripts


  • Provide system-wide coding support to enhance our products self-testing and other integrated functions.

Education & Experience

  • Ph . D . or Masters degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, optical engineering, or applied physics , with a strong concentration of software development

Skills


  • Strong coding skills and familiarity with design patterns in LabView, Python and C#


  • Experience with automated instrumentation, opto-electro-mechanical components and subsystems, laser measurement and alignment


  • Experience with software unit testing and integration of technologies including OPC-UA, TCP/IP, and HTTP


  • Experience integrating software and software testing into complex laser tools and production processes
