RESPONSIBILITIES
The Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician is responsible for the installation, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of the plant electrical and controls equipment. The I&E Technician will support equipment which includes but is not limited to the following:
* Natural gas and liquids separation
* Condensate stabilization
* Amine treating and gas dehydration
* Turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression
* Turbine power generation
* Propane refrigeration
* Natural gas cryogenic processing
* CO2 compression, treating, and dehydration
* Reverse Osmosis water treating & pumps
* Transmitters, valves, actuators, and other instrumentation
* Gas and liquids measurement equipment
* PLCs and plant control, safety, and communications systems
* PDC, MCC, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, generators, and additional electrical equipment
* Electrical substation & power distribution
* Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
QUALIFICATIONS
In addition, the I&E Technician will be a key contributor to the proactive safety culture. This is a unique grass-roots opportunity in which the I&E Technician will play a role in the construction of the facility, along with the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures. The I&E Technician will interface regularly with plant mechanic, plant operator, engineering, control room, supply chain, management, and safety teams. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of I&E equipment maintenance and operations and have a proven track record as a leader. Position will have a rotational schedule of day shifts with night call-out responsibilities during the shift. Housing will be provided during the shift.
