JOB DESCRIPTION



With guidance from the Operations and Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will direct, plan, coordinate, schedule, and supervise all aspects of operations, including managing staff shift schedules, assigning tasks for Operators, managing concerns that come up with the Operators on a daily basis, assure client data and reporting is recorded and submitted timely, assure daily/ weekly and monthly maintenance is conducted as scheduled, and mitigating and resolving any personnel or capability obstacle in the way of successfully completing customer orders. This person is also responsible for assisting plant operators with daily tasks.



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Aid in ordering, organizing and installation of existing or new project components
  • Lead the operations and maintenance team, develop, plan and track progress on capital projects.
  • Trouble-shoot plant issues and find solutions with impute form the client and site supervisor.
  • Manage and coordinate with lead shift operators to establish and communicate production goals and align on client testing, requests and maintenance requirements.
  • Accountable for tasking out crews with the help of the Project Manager. Generating prioritized lists of daily tasks and goals needing to be accomplished
  • During times of construction, retrofits, downtime, and other non-operations conditions, seek to help prioritize and managing operations, maintenance and logistics staff in conjunction with Wood and Client Project managers, to maximize the skillsets of the available team members and third-party contractors to achieve the timeliest, safest, most cost-effective and quality outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Competent user of all Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to "adjust on the fly" to changing priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedures, Job safety analysis (JSA) operating and maintenance manuals or instructions, procedure manuals and facility schematics/ drawings.
  • Communication skills both written and verbal are required.
  • Attention to detail is critical for this position (data capture, recording and reporting)
  • Good note taker, even temperament and willing to learn new and exciting skills.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug, background and fit test.
  • Must have clean driving record and valid driver's license.
