Compli LLC is an Asset Management and Reliability (AMR) services consulting company specializing in assisting pharma/life sciences, food, and beverage, chemical, and discrete manufacturing industries achieve operational excellence through the adoption of Maintenance & Reliability best practices. We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Manager to join our growing AMR Services team.
Responsibilities:
Typical Activities: The Senior Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall safe, efficient, and effective operation of the plant Maintenance function by performing the following duties:
Developing and communicating the Asset Reliability vision and Organizations Mission, Vision, and Values
Identifies and leads or works with Reliability Engineering on site M&R improvement initiatives including
Manage the execution of a site M&R Best Practices gap assessment
Prioritize the recommendations from the assessment and develop a mitigating timeline
Develop the site•s Reliability IQ and culture of Asset Reliability and Continuous Improvement
Improving the level of equipment selection and equipment availability and uptime
Ensuring effective contractor management is occurring and proper installation procedures and specifications/tolerances are being adhered to
Accuracy, training, and use of the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Adoption of Asset Criticality Ranking
Drawing/Documents Management
Execution of Work Management Best Practices
Adoption of Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
Use of applicable Predictive Maintenance (PdM)/Condition Monitoring technologies
Review and optimization of the PM/PdM program
Development and implementation of Precision Maintenance
Support the site compliance efforts by the timely management of any deviations and investigations related to cGMP practices where applicable to your team
MRO Materials Management Optimization
Maintenance Training program
Contractor Management
Shutdown Management
Adoption of Operator Care/Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives
Adherence to 5/6-S program
Development of Organizational Best Practices Playbooks
Oversees measuring and reporting departmental KPI•s
Provide leadership and direction of both salaried and hourly personnel
Participate in the employment process from screening, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, training, coaching, disciplining, promoting and/or termination of employment
Ensure the concept of working safely is well-communicated throughout the Maintenance team
Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure timecards, reports and deadlines in general are submitted accurately and in a timely manner
Lead the Maintenance team to ensure they are achieving all identified goals and objectives
Oversees the departments Performance Review process
All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:

Education:
Technical school or Engineering bachelor•s degree: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred, however, the equivalent combination of education/experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Work Experience:
Minimum of seven years related-work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
Five years of maintenance supervisory experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical, life sciences facility
Ability to support site audits from the FDA, EPA, EU, ROW, etc.
Software Experience:
Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
Familiarity with Pivot Tables and V-Look ups
Proficient in the use of Maintenance CMMS or EAM systems like IBM Maximo, SAP PM/S4Hana, Oracle/JDE, eMaint, Mainsaver, etc.
Familiarity with report writing tools such as Business Objects and Power BI is also preferred

Ability to maintain effective working relationships and make effective decisions
Ability to communicate effectively to the internal Maintenance staff as well as external vendors
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment

Possess a strong mechanical &/or electrical aptitude
Technical knowledge of common facility, production, and R&D processes such as mechanical, refrigeration, lubrication, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, automation, WFI, RO and utilities
Knowledgeable of typical manufacturing equipment such as motors, pumps, gear reducers, conveyors, boilers, air handlers, cooling towers, transformers, MCC•s, etc.
Ability to read blueprint, schematics, and single line diagrams
Must be knowledgeable of and adhere to the company•s safety policies and procedures as described in the site, company safety manual
Demonstrated business and financial acumen with a P&L understanding
Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence with Senior Leadership
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to use their vision as well as hands and fingers to handle parts and to accomplish data entry tasks
The employee is frequently required to use hearing to answer the telephone and to receive instructions from their supervisor and requests from internal Maintenance employees
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, to stoop, kneel or crouch
The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Certifications:
Prefer at least one industry Certification as either a:
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
Certified Reliability Leader (CRL)
Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM)???????
