JOB SUMMARY
As a Lead Building Engineer within our Outpatient Medical portfolio, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the value of our healthcare properties. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and appearance of our outpatient medical facilities. We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual who is passionate about property maintenance and thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
TRAVEL
Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Travel Requirements related to essential functions (frequency, distance, purpose). Must be able to work on-call when needed. Must be able to drive to different site locations – 15% of the time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience: 7 years hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred. Some prior personnel supervisory experience preferred.
Education: High school education or GED required. EPA Universal refrigerant certification required or the ability to become certified or other Mechanical Trade certification in related field.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Valid drivers’ license. Meets company MV operator criteria.
Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
COMPENSATION
Salaries may vary by location. The range for this role in Washington, D.C. is $36.00 - $47.00/hour plus bonus. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
