JOB TITLE: Jack Driver




I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:


Unload and restock packaging materials. Prepare packages for shipment through


Post, and keep area around the docks as well as packing and storage areas clean. May also responsible for backing up the film room attendant and working in the tray room.


Lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the shift and 60 pounds occasionally.


Must be able to operate manual jacks (Pushing and Pulling) also electric jacks


Must be able to bend, squat and reach above shoulder level to organize inventory.


Must be able to climb up and down on a rolling step ladder to organize inventory.


Safety procedures to be used in and around the work areas are communicated to the Tyson Team Members during orientation
Must be able to perform other job as requested by management



Must have 6- month experience in the field.




II. MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB



1. Good hand/eye coordination.



III. TYPES OF EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO OPERATE FOR THE POSITION



1. Hand/electric jack
2. Must wear required PPE ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and beard guard.



IV. MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, DIPLOMA OR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB FUNCTIONS



1. Capable of performing all listed job functions

Rehire Criteria:




Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.




Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.



This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a hand pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
