Equifax is seeking a Technical Product Owner Manager who has experience with both Product Management and Product Owner responsibilities, bridging the gaps between writing business requirements, understanding technical impacts, and leading technical teams who can create the detailed Epics and User Stories.
What you'll do
Manages a team of Technical Product Owners responsible for delivering a wide array of regulated platform features that align to product vision and strategies. Oversee the Epics and User Story writing for multiple Product Owners across multiple squads, assisting when needed, and ensuring the team produces high quality documentation for our technology partners
Manage Front door process, backlog and prioritization process, and lead discussions when urgent requests require tradeoffs of other planned work. Interface and collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, Legal, compliance and Technology architects, developers and engineers to ensure alignment and drive team performance in defining long-term product roadmaps and technical product requirements.
Oversee product governance activities and be prepared to frequently communicate with senior management on status, risks, trade-offs and change control.
Drive resolution for identified compliance issues that may impair the team's ability to meet overall business objectives
Own the tribe's roadmaps in Aha!, keeping them updated with linked dependencies on other tribes
Lead the quarterly planning process, which includes reviewing backlog priorities, setting stakeholder expectations, and presenting quarterly plans to stakeholders and other leaders across other tribes
Assist the compliance issues management process by helping to identify issues, to work business and technology teams to identify and remediate root causes, and to document impact and resolution.
What experience you need
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent job experience required
5+ years' in experience managing product backlogs and requirements for Agile delivery teams in a Product Owner capacity, including extensive User Story definition work
5+ years of experience working with large development teams with multiple scrum teams and development interdependencies
5+ years of experience working in a technical environment, being comfortable with APIs, databases and cloud technologies
5+ years of experience working closely with customers and stakeholders, building relationships, and understanding their business objectives while managing expectations
3+ years of experience building roadmaps and working in requirements management systems such as Aha! and/or Jira
3+ years of experience of leadership with direct reports

Experience working with F500 publicly-traded highly-regulated company would be a plus
Experience in the design or testing of APIs
Experience with GCP / Firestore cloud technologies
