SUMMARY
Responsible for the smooth flow of vehicles and port-installed accessories into the region and is the primary contact for the production planning group, allocation system, vehicle traffic, and shipping issues.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the monthly regional allocation process for maximum retail efficiency and achievement of wholesale operations plan.
Collaborates with the Zone Directors and Regional Vice President providing timely purchase order data to assist in the production/operations rollout planning cycles.
Ensures the regional test, pool, promo, and Employee Vehicle Lease Program (EVLP) vehicle inventory is properly ordered, rotated, accounted for, and disposed of.
Manages port accessory sales per new vehicle wholesaled (port PNVW) targets.
Manages the flow of Sold Order Request fulfillment.
Coordinates the ordering, shipping, tracking, move-in/move-out, repair, and disposition of auto show vehicles.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Joint responsibility (with the Customer Relations group) for the ordering, shipment, and tracking of Subaru Service Loaner Program (SSLP) units and the attainment of SSLP-related objectives.
Trains regional, field, and retailer personnel on Distribution related systems and initiatives.
Mentors and develops the department.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Broad automotive field and management experience, with a focus on sales, marketing, and inventory management. Automotive retail experience is a plus.
Extensive analytical experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-starter and ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced computer/software skills are a must, specifically Microsoft Excel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 6-8 years' experience

May travel to retailers or events
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that satisfied the requirements of SOA Driving Record Evaluation Criteria Policy. o Must be approved as an "Authorized Driver" by Risk Management to operate vehicles prior to vehicle operation. o Must be able to operate all Subaru products including manual transmission vehicles.
COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $111500 - 159200 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
