Job Description Summary
The position is for a laboratory technician to work in the lab performing a variety of biochemical, molecular biology and genomics techniques. A primary responsibility will be preparation of assays related to amyloid beta toxicity in human cell lines. This person will also be responsible for preparing libraries for Next Generation Sequence analysis. In addition, the person will be responsible for cloning, cell culture and luciferase experiments. Other duties include helping others in the laboratory with related work.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required with a major in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field and 0-1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience as a laboratory technician is desirable but not required. Computer skills preferred. Experience with Luciferase assays is desirable.
