An integrated financial management firm is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to lead their accounting and advisory teams, focused on helping entrepreneurs and closely held businesses achieve financial success through growth, transition, and retirement across a range of services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the assurance components of broader client engagements, including preparations, compilations, and reviews
Provide advisory services covering entity setup and restructuring, budgeting/forecasting, capital transactions, and financial analysis
Understand client operations and processes
Develop and mentor a team of staff accountants
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's client base
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
CPA certification is prefered
Experience in public accounting (7+ years) is prefered
Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation
Experience in business transitions or M&A is a plus
Proficiency with CCH ProSystem fx Engagement and QuickBooks is prefered
Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite prefered
