Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in need of a Cost Accountant in Wyoming, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Cost Accountant will develop and analyze cost standards


• Prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs


• Create formula codes for all products


• Balance sales margin vs production variances


• Collect Yield Testing for product codes


• Create inventory analysis reports and analyze adjustments


• Process daily production work orders and resolve daily variances


• As a Cost Accountant, you will conduct tests of labor and other costing standards


• Verify standard costs


• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent training and experience


• 2+ years of experience in Cost Accounting


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Strong computer knowledge of Excel and Google Sheet


• Experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
